Hi Joey,

I just inves­ti­gate the prob­lem you are talk­ing about. I checked the RSS from your site. It dis­played the dc let­ter. But if you look into the HTML/XML code of the RSS, you will find a span tag around the let­ter. When I look into the HTML of your face­book blog. the span part is just gone. So I think when face­book inport the RSS, their back-end stripped all the HTML tags. They don’t want the HTML and embed­ded JavaScript from other sites to muss their UI and site secu­rity, I guess.

There is a workaround:
1. Go to “Settings->Reading->For each arti­cle in a feed, show”, set it to “Sum­mary”.
2. For the posts with drop-caps, copy the first few lines to the “Excerpts” and remove the [dc][/dc] in the “Excerpts”. After sav­ing the post, you will find that the RSS con­tains the text with­out any HTML markups.
